As the Lead Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and implementation of technical documentation and learning materials that adhere to Powerlink and industry standards. Working closely with stakeholders, you will distill complex technical information into clear and concise documents. Additionally, you will review, enhance, and document work processes and practices to ensure consistency across Operations and Service Delivery.

The community you will join

 

Based in Brisbane, and reporting to the Manager of Technical Competency and Training, with one direct report, you'll be joining a dedicated technical training team within our (OSD) division.

Your expertise

 

  • Degree level qualification in engineering or technical discipline or a lesser qualification coupled with significant applied experience, preferably in the electrical transmission or distribution business.

We’d also love you to have:

  • Queensland Electrical Licence.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent, or the willingness to obtain.
  • Change management qualifications (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) or a willingness to obtain.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications related studies.
